Village hall shell complete, new water main being laid and car park entrance being formed
This year 2026 sees the village hall become 30 years old.
From the original hall many improvements have been made over the years, including
1st floor youth club formed - Now the impressive Poppyland Radio studios.
New accessable toilet built on the east gable, to allow the kitchen to be enlarged.
New large store built behind the stage.
All helped by a generous bequest by Mrs Edith Price who passed away in 2004
